Independent expertise in veterinary anesthesia, patient safety, and clinical systems

About

I am a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist with clinical, educational, and leadership experience spanning North America and the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to clinical anesthesia and teaching, my work has focused on systems-level aspects of hospital and program development, including benchmarking of clinical services, accreditation-related review, patient safety initiatives, and staff development.

As a former medical director of two large referral hospitals, I have experience in new hospital planning, infrastructure and equipment procurement, implementation of standard operating procedures, and the evaluation of clinical workflows in complex environments. This background informs my approach to professional education, advisory work, and collaborative projects, with an emphasis on safety, practicality, and sustainable implementation in diverse practice settings.
